Days 6-7...Been a crazy weekend

Sorry for no post Saturday...it was insane around here. I got up with the best of intentions to get my day going early and get my long run in...I got sidetracked big time!! I went to a thrift store down the road from me to look for some summer tops and found a nice mountain bike. My daughter and I have both been wanting on so I decided to get it. This meant a trip to the bank and back. Got it, went to put air in the tires and blew the front tire...it was dry rotted. Went to buy new tires, and got them and training wheels for my youngest ones bike. Back home, then to a friends to get the tires and training wheels put on...a simple thing turned complicated and took most of my day! The bike is awesome though and I am sure we will enjoy it! Decided to mow the grass. Now we have over an acre of land that has to be push mowed. That was almost 3 hours of mowing grass!! Needless to say I never made it to the long run...Mowing grass was my workout!

Nutrition wise for this crazy day...not bad choices, just no where near enough food...:(

Breakfast: all natural peanutbutter on all natural wheat berry toast and almond milk. (I just found this bread and all the ingredients are undestandable, whole grain and soooo good!

no lunch

Dinner: squash, mushrooms and butternut squash with a little bit of pork rib. I was very carful to pull out the lean meat and trash the fat! This was a delicous dinner, sorry no pic!

Sunday...Day 7

Got up this morning at 6am to go for a long run! I am not a morning person so this was flippin amazing! I ran 11.56 miles in 2 hours and 2 min! It was so awsome watching the sun come up while I ran. At one point I had to stop and just enjoy the beauty in front of me! God is an amazing artist! That was my workout today!

Breakfast...before run....Cheerios, almond milk

Snack...after run....banana and dark chocolate almond milk

Lunch...chicken, mushrooms, squash, and sweet potatoes! YUMMY!

Dinner...this will probably be a salad...

Snack...watermelon

Both days I have gotten my gallon of water in....

On a different note...my non fitness hubby discovered the joys of hiking this weekend and rock climbing. He had the opportunity during a layover this weekend to hike and rock climb in the Utah Mountains! He thought it was awesome and now can't wait to come home and go hiking with me! I tell you God answers prayers and gives us the desires of our hearts when we seek Him!!

I don't have pics for meals because my hubby bombarded my phone with pics of his hike and blocked up my phone...I can't send or recieve texts right now and that is how I do my pics...
